supporting program

Although, RoboCup is focused on research in Robotics and AI due to its vision it is also a great opportunity to present cutting-edge technology to the general public. Beside the competitions which are open to the public there will be talks and technology demonstrations in order to explain and advertise the technology behind RoboCup and related fields. Several activities are planed for the supporting program in order to give the general public the opportunity to get close in touch with the field called Robotics.

A tentative list of planed activities:

• technology demonstration autonomous car driving
• technology demonstration rescue robots for first responders
• Robotics meets Art
• demos on future steps in RoboCup
• several talks and discussions about "state of the art" in Robotics
