Soccer Rules
The final version of the RoboCupJunior 2009 rules for Soccer are the following:
(RoboCupJunior Soccer Rules 2007 - Official Rules 2007 (pdf) )
Open League Regulation:
Please keep in mind that the Open League Regulation is part of the rules. Robots and program have to be the students work only. When commercial kits are used, robots have to be modified substantially. (For example: Joimax robots attracted attention not to match this regulation. So please be careful with sch kits.)
Primary & Secondary:
We'll have both age-categories, primary and secondary, within Soccer Version A. Within Soccer Version B, we'll have only one age-category (for both, primary and secondary students at the same time).
Soccer Ball:
This year, all junior soccer games, versions A and B, will still play with the old ball specification, with continuous IR light emission. However, we already have a new ball specification (link below) for 2010 onward and we are looking for volunteer teams to play demo games with the new ball specification as detailed below. If you wish to volunteer, please, send an email to johannes@rocci.net .
