Juniors

For the participants of the Junior competition a number of inexpensive rooms at a student dorm can be booked. The number of still available single rooms is 17 at the moment.

Please send your request as soon as possible! 

The option for inexpensive accommodation is only available for Junior teams which are qualified and fully registered.

Once the RoboCup Federation has confirmed that a Junior team is fully registered the organizing committee of the RoboCup 2009 sends an email to the primary team contact. This email will contain information on the on-line reservation system for the Junior accommodation.

At the on-line reservation system please start entering your email address (has to be the same as used in the registration) and chose your team. If you have several teams please repeat the reservation for each team. If you can't find your team there your registration is not jet confirmed. Each mentor and student has to be entered exactly for one single team! Then please insert all the requested information and submit the reservation request.

The organizing committee of the RoboCup 2009 only does the room reservation according your request. The payment of the rooms has to be done by teams directly at the accommodation.

Rooms will be reserved in a first-come-first-serve principle. The number of rooms at the inexpensive Junior accomodation is limited and there is no guarantee for a room reservation. Once the all rooms are reserved we will close the on-line reservation system for Juniors.

Hostels usually charge at departure. One exception is the Graz youth hostel (Jugendgästehaus) which requires payment at arrival.

After the reservation is completed the organizing committee sends a confirmation email to the primary contact of the team with the following details:

* name and address of hostel
* costs per person and night
* information about public transfer to Stadthalle

Please note that we can only support Junior team members and their mentors with the room reservation. Parents and other school mates (and other not registered persons) are welcome to the venue as visitors but have to book their accommodation trough the regular process.
