The Client handles the transportation of refrigerated and frozen goods, including fresh food. Conventionally, the transportation of refrigerated/frozen goods involves the transhipment of the goods from a cooling container to another. As this process exposes the contents to the ambient air, preventive actions like the use of the cooling room to get rid of the negative impact on quality where necessary.
The Client takes the view that high-performance, compact-size cooling containers will allow refrigerated/frozen goods to be handled in the same way as regular shipment (ambient temperature transportation) without unwanted transhipment, which should eventually make their delivery operations more efficient. The Client has in the past discussed with external parties on more sophisticated cooling containers but has decided to make this call in order to explore the efficient ways to establish promising technology.
Submissions to this Challenge must be received by Jan 26, 2021.
